Shinshu Otani sect
Shinshu Otani sect was established by religious policy of the Meiji goverment. Even Shinshu Otani sect belonged to inclusive organization for the followers of branch temples as being the Head Temple for Honganji. Not only Honganji was dispersed, disappeared from juridical registration, in 1987, but the Otani family was expelled, and the temple and assets were absorbed, even abolished the name of Honganji.
